BAKERY/CLERK (Finance)

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass drug test
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to work within set time frames
• Familiarity with bakery terms and processes
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects
• Ability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Related retail experience
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure

Responsibilities include:

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage excellent customer service
• Maintain awareness of sales and anticipate production needs
• Stock products and maintain full display cases
• Evaluate and verify bakery product quality to company standards
• Perform department housekeeping
• Answer telephones and take cake orders
• Promote and follow company initiatives; comply with policies and safety guidelines
• Perform cashier functions
• Sample products and use public announcements to attract customers

Salary Range: $15.25 - $17.85 per hour
