Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high-level customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, while maintaining cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves, products, floors, and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
• Inspect and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be proactive in your role.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and perform general housekeeping.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, handle trays and items weighing up to 40 lbs., and adhere to safety and health regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $15.20 - $19.75/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
