Job summary

Suárez Bakery in Charlotte is seeking friendly Bakery Cashiers to welcome guests, take orders, and assist with product recommendations. You will manage the register, process payments, and keep displays inviting throughout busy days. Training is provided, and part- and full-time schedules may be available.

Facilities include employee discounts, free pastries, and occasional celebrations; weekend and holiday availability is expected in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Bakery Cashier

At Suárez Bakery, we're here to help people across Charlotte celebrate—from birthdays and weddings to Tuesday mornings that just need a really good doughnut. We want every guest who walks through our doors to feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and excited to come back.

Our cashiers help make that happen. They do a lot more than ring up purchases—they're often the first and last interaction our guests have with us, and they play a big role in creating the kind of experience people remember.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm when things get busy, and takes pride in doing the little things well. No bakery experience? That's okay. We hire for attitude and train for skill. If you're dependable, eager to learn, and ready to jump in wherever needed, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Take orders accurately and answer questions about our baked goods.
• Help guests choose products and offer recommendations when appropriate.
• Package cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods with care.
• Operate the register and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Keep display cases stocked, clean, and looking their best throughout the day.
• Assist with preorder pickups.
• Restock boxes, bags, beverages, and other front-of-house supplies.
• Keep the bakery clean by wiping counters, sweeping, washing dishes, and taking care of small cleaning tasks throughout the day.Help your teammates wherever needed.
