Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a General Manager to lead a high-performing bakery-cafe team in Chesterfield, MO. You will own all aspects of operations, from staffing and scheduling to performance management and guest experience.

You will hire, onboard and train staff, drive results with strong business acumen, and uphold Panera’s health, safety and quality standards while inspiring your team to deliver warm hospitality and superb food.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Background check required for any offer.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand/walk up to 6 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery-cafe team and oversee operations, staffing, scheduling and performance.
• Hire, onboard and train new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Ensure guest service, quality standards and costs meet Panera's expectations.
• Develop managers on people processes and Panera's Guiding Values & Behaviors.
• Maintain a healthy, safe workplace and compliant operations.
