Job summary

Stew Leonard's Bakery in New York is hiring a Bakery-Bread Slicer for a full-time, hourly role. The position involves slicing, packaging, labeling, and ensuring product standards and accurate ingredient measurement.

You will review the production plan, operate the bread slicer, maintain rotation, assist with inventory, and uphold sanitation and safety standards while supporting opening/closing procedures. No prior experience required beyond a strong work ethic.

Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $17.25-17.75 depending on qualifications and experience

Must be at least 18 years and older

Position Description:

Slice, package and label product for display and sale according to standards, including the precise measurement of ingredients

Your day-to-day:

• Review production plan
• Operate bread slicer machine
• Prepare, package, label, and date products according to company standards
• Maintain proper product rotation and assist with inventory organization
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout shifts
