Job summary

TES Recruiting seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer/Automation Specialist to design and commission control systems for bakery equipment. You will develop PLC/ HMI programs, create detailed electrical schematics, and generate panel layouts using AutoCAD.

Travel to support installations and commissioning will be required, with collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, service, and sales teams to deliver robust automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of related experience as an Automation Specialist or Controls Engineer.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or Controls Engineer in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment.
• Controls and automation experience highly preferred; strong electrical and automation aptitude.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk Studio, PowerFlex 525 drives, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and related systems; Siemens a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and commission electrical control systems for industrial bakery equipment.
• Write PLC and HMI programs from scratch and modify existing programs.
• Create electrical panel layouts using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Test, troubleshoot, and commission electrical control systems in manufacturing environments.
• Provide engineering information and technical support to customers and internal teams.
