Job summary

AMF Bakery Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer to design electrical control systems for high-speed bakery equipment. You will work on hardware and software design, develop machine programs, and create operator interfaces in collaboration with Electrical Engineering.

This role includes on-site field service support during installation and commissioning. Ideal candidates will have a BS in Electrical Engineering (or AA with 5+ years) and strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; AA with 5+ years considered.
• Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and software.
• Familiar with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet).
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.

Responsibilities

• Engineering design for machines and control systems from concept to completion.
• Produce electrical schematics, BOMs, and software for machines.
• Provide field service support during installation, startup, and commissioning.
