Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a bakery guest service associate to greet guests, prepare products for sale, and maintain freshness and cleanliness across the bakery area. This role includes front-end duties to minimize guest wait times and occasional cake-decorating tasks.

The position requires the ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and read directions, with a friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong guest-service skills. 18+ and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Perform clerk function of cake decorating when requested.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Front end duties to ensure no noticeable wait; announce specials and sale info on PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
