Base pay range

$20.05/hr - $35.00/hr

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Team Leader in daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
  • Lead and develop Team Members, ensuring courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
  • Support adherence to store SOPs and promote WFM core values and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain store layout and product merchandising.
  • Achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets in collaboration with the Team Leader.
  • Analyze sales reports and labor data.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure proper paperwork submission.
  • Act as department point person in absence of the Team Leader.
  • Foster a positive team environment and high morale.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs and questions.
  • Train, mentor, motivate, and evaluate Team Members.
  • Model WFM vision and goals through communication and actions.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
  • Use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Work involves bending, twisting, squatting, reaching.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and temperature variations.
  • Work in wet/dry conditions, flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Operate tools and equipment like knives, pallet jacks, ladders.
