Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a full-time warehouse associate in Chapel Hill, NC. You will bake per standards, process and stock Fresh Foods items, and maintain a clean work area while supporting unloading and salvage reloads. Customer service is a key element of the role.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and English proficiency are required, with training provided to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Candidates must be 18 or older and ready to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Bake products according to Fresh Foods standards.
• Process, package, and stock Fresh Foods products.
• Clean work areas; unload stock and reload salvage.
• Provide customer service and assist customers as needed.
