Job summary

Harris Teeter in Clayton, NC is seeking a part-time associate to bake products to Fresh Foods standards, process and package items, stock shelves, and assist customers. The role includes cleaning duties, unloading stock, and reloading salvage while maintaining safety and quality.

Strong English reading/writing is required and eligibility for company benefits follows waiting periods. Associates must be at least 18 years old, with a HS diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers using US money and weight measurements.

Responsibilities

• Bake products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Process, package, stock Fresh Foods products.
• Clean work areas and provide customer service.
• Unload stock and reload salvage as needed.
