Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a bakery associate to manage packaging, labeling, and pricing of bakery products while maintaining stock levels and ensuring product quality.

You will monitor dates, temperature control and appearance, assist with product displays, and help customers with orders. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a strong focus on food safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Partners must be 21+ to drive for Company business per BGC policy.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating baked goods.
• Assists bakery personnel with preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling.
• Stacks pallets and sorts product according to Company efficiency standards and expectations.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
• Provides friendly and customer-service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions and taking orders.
