Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Associate to ensure baked goods are prepared and displayed according to company standards. You will work closely with bakery staff to promote department sales and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include training partners, managing inventory, reviewing sales data, ensuring quality control, and supporting production, decoration, and display of bakery items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1+ year related bakery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery department operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners; schedule, plan, assign, and direct work.
• Review historical sales data, ads, and promotions; co-manage inventory.
• Inspect quality: aroma, flavor, texture, color; ensure product freshness.
• Assist in bakery production: prep, packaging, labeling, catering, delivery.
• Decorate and merchandize baked goods to promote themes and sales.
• Maintain clean, safe conditions; follow safety procedures.
