Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Associate to produce baked goods following recipes and safety guidelines. You will measure and mix ingredients, operate commercial bakery equipment, and help with packaging and labeling for customer orders.

A friendly, service-oriented approach is essential. You will maintain product display quality, rotate stock for freshness, and assist customers with product selection while adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food handler certification is required.
• Six months of related experience or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to bake cakes, donuts, cookies, and other products per orders and display needs.
• Measure, weigh, mix, shape, and score ingredients for recipes.
• Operate ovens, mixers, dough proofer and other bakery equipment.
• Complete production lists and processing of special orders; package and label products.
• Maintain attractive presentation in display areas and rotate stock for freshness while following safety standards.
• Provide friendly customer service, answer questions, assist in locating products, and handle complaints professionally.
• Follow company safety procedures to keep the work environment clean and sanitary.
• Support sales through suggestive selling to drive product awareness.
