Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a bakery associate to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, unpack and display items, and package products for sale. You will follow production charts and safety guidelines while maintaining a clean, organized bakery environment.

The role emphasizes fast, friendly service to members and adherence to club standards and quality control. Prior bakery or service experience is valued, with lifting requirements up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods by following item-specific handling information using ovens and equipment.
• Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display according to production charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and labels items with price tickets.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments and rotates stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the bakery and throughout the department.
