Responsabilidades

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and valued by answering questions about products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products in the department and respond to questions with recommendations.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery specials and promotions.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions while preventing shrink.
• Recommend bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients as required.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude and keep the store organized.
• Know the store layout to locate products for customers.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Maintain inventory awareness and note discrepancies.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
