85°C Bakery Cafe in Oceanside, CA is hiring Bread Bakers, Cake Decorators, and Separators. The role involves producing and preparing high-quality bakery products, following recipes, and ensuring food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in bakery, cake decorating, food production, restaurant, or kitchen preferred.
• Passion for creating high-quality bakery products.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week for part time employees, 32 hours per week for full time employees.
• Early morning, weekend, and holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, decorate, assemble, or separate bakery products according to job role, company recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, prepare, and finish products while following established procedures.
• Decorate cakes with precision while maintaining presentation and consistency standards.
• Separate, organize, package, and prepare finished bakery products for distribution and sale.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, Health Department, and company regulations.
• Properly operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with inventory rotation and quality control.
• Cross-train and support other bakery or storefront departments as business needs require.
