Job summary

The GIANT Company in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a team member for store operations, bakery duties, and customer service. You will review schedules, prepare equipment, bake goods, package items, and keep displays clean and stocked.

Ideal candidates will have basic reading/writing skills, ability to comply with PPE and safety rules, and be able to pass a 60-day introductory period. 1 year of related experience is preferred, and a commitment to reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and comply with policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare required PPE, equipment and supplies.
• Assemble and bake goods: mix ingredients, place on trays, bake and package.
• Print and label baked goods, clean display cases, and stock fresh products.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Track and record loss.
