Job summary

SpartanNash in Madison, WI is seeking a Bakery Associate to prepare and display bakery products in the store. You’ll work independently to produce goods, pack, label, and stock, helping meet guest expectations and safety standards.

You’ll collaborate with other departments, follow recipes and weights, communicate tasks to teammates, and help with ordering when supplies run low. High school diploma preferred and retail experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Bakery Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Bakery Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Bakery Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Notify the Bakery Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Work with other departments and stores to support store growth.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines and perform cleaning steps as directed.
