Job summary

Uncle Tetsu is seeking a Baker Assistant in Haltom City, TX. You will support the Baker and PIC, perform FOH/BOH duties, greet guests, process payments, and assist with drink and ingredient prep for daily bakes and beverages.

The role requires reliability, basic education, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training will be provided in a fast-paced bakery environment with a focus on food safety and guest service.

Qualifications

• Some high school education.
• Prefer some operations experience.
• Local/municipal food safety requirements may apply, such as Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Front of House (FOH) duties as directed by the PIC.
• Perform Back of House (BOH) duties as directed by the PIC.
• Greet and serve guests, handle payments at the cash register.
• Prepare drinks at the Tea Bar and ingredients for baking, including weighing.
• Package cakes and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the store.
