Job summary

ShopRite of Little Falls is seeking a Bakery Associate to support daily bakery operations and assist the Bakery Manager with baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging, and filling of pastries and breads. You will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and product quality to deliver a great customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, physical stamina for long shifts, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Follow company policies and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience in the Bakery Department.
• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations: baking, dough mixing, icing, packaging and filling.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Follow recipes and operate equipment per formulas.
