Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Baker to join our team. You will follow NbC recipes, bake delicious cakes, and help keep the kitchen clean and organized. The role requires attention to timing, precise measurements, and a proactive approach to quality and safety.

We offer a flexible schedule, opportunities for advancement, training and development, and cake discounts. Applicants must be 18+ and no formal education is required, though bakery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to understand written and oral directions and recipes.
• Knows basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Operates commercial bakery equipment and oven safely and efficiently.
• Keeps strict timing and production pace with accuracy.
• Monitors quality and follows NbC standards.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes and bake production to meet productivity goals.
• Use mixers, ovens and tools to bake cakes.
• Prepare ingredients and set up pans for baking; monitor baking process.
• Pack, label and store baked cakes; maintain logs and rotation standards.
• Assist Bakery Manager with production planning and inventory.
• Evaluate ingredients and cakes for NbC quality standards and report issues.
• Clean, sanitize and restock workstation for next shift.
• Adhere to health, safety rules and NbC policies, dress code, and hygiene.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
