The Fort restaurant is looking to hire a part-time baker/prep cook. You will be responsible for baking most of The Fort's cakes, breads, pumpkin walnut muffins, crème brûlée, chocolate ganache desserts, and more from our recipes. Additionally, you will prepare kitchen vegetables, guacamole, and other items as needed by the chefs. We offer flexible schedules, and this is a daytime position with weekends off.
Join our talented team of approximately 15-20 kitchen staff, who put love into the food served to 200-300 guests each night. Our award-winning recipes are published in The Fort cookbook. We also encourage creativity through culinary contests held in fall and spring, giving cooks the opportunity to create new, innovative recipes for the menu.
