Job summary

Lechi Food Corporation is seeking a reliable Baker/Oven Operator to join our food production team. The oven operator supervises the cooking process for our products and bakes kolaches according to established standards.

We offer training with no prior experience required, and you will maximize oven use, prep, load, and unload ovens, while monitoring cooking, following SOPs, and ensuring food safety. Shift 6:30 AM–3:00 PM; full-time or part-time positions available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety is a plus.
• Standing and repetitive tasks required.
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, full-time / part-time.

Responsibilities

• Cook kolaches according to established standards.
• Maximize oven use to ensure oven is loaded to capacity and filled at all times when necessary.
• Prep, load, and unload ovens.
• Monitor cooking throughout the day.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and food safety guidelines.
• Perform basic quality checks on products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
