Job summary

Wonderstate Coffee in Viroqua, WI, is seeking a Baker to join our café team. The role focuses on producing high-quality baked goods for the menu and bakery case, while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and ensuring excellent customer service.

The Baker collaborates with the Kitchen Lead and Cafe Manager to meet café goals, uphold our value of Excellence. Always., and support our community with great food and coffee.

Responsibilities

• Produce stellar baked goods, in high volume, for both the food menu and the bakery case, working independently.
• Prioritize and execute baking independently, upholding the stated expectations for the café, including quantities, recipes and storage.
• Honor relationships within the team, give and receive feedback respectfully, express gratitude, and contribute positively.
• Communicate with the Front of House about products and storage.
• Manage bread quantities in cold storage.
• Practice extreme cleanliness and maintain a sanitary work environment; wash dishes related to the baking program.
