Wonderstate Coffee in Viroqua, WI is seeking a part-time Baker to support our café kitchen and bakery needs. You will produce high-quality baked goods, follow recipes, and collaborate with the Kitchen Lead and Cafe Manager to meet café goals.

The role emphasizes cleanliness, food safety, and positive teamwork while delivering excellent food and customer service to our guests. Weekend shifts and varying weekly schedules apply.

Responsibilities

• Produce stellar baked goods, in high volume, for both the food menu and the bakery case, working independently.
• Prioritize and execute baking independently, upholding the café’s stated expectations.
• Honor team relationships, give/receive feedback respectfully, and contribute to a positive environment.
• Communicate with Front of House about products and storage.
• Manage bread quantities in cold storage.
• Maintain extreme cleanliness and sanitary kitchen conditions; wash dishes related to baking.
• Track items to order and communicate needs in a timely manner.
• Ensure quality control and report issues to Kitchen Lead or Cafe Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service when necessary.
• Uphold kitchen processes and follow Food Safe Serve guidelines.
• Set up and break down the kitchen; participate in routine duties.
• Exemplify Wonderstate Coffee core values.
