Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Baker for our Mount Vernon area bakery. You will prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes, while maintaining quality and presentation. You will also decorate items, rotate ingredients, and keep the workspace clean and organized.

You’ll interact with customers, handle special orders, and help create a positive experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior baking experience is preferred and early morning availability is required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and desserts using established recipes and production methods
• Measure, mix, shape and bake products; decorate cakes and specialty items
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and rotate/label ingredients
• Assist customers with product questions and special orders; contribute to a positive service experience
