Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a motivated Baker to produce fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts from established recipes while ensuring quality and consistency. You will measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate, and coordinate with the bakery team to meet daily production needs.

In a fast-paced retail environment, you’ll assist customers, handle special orders, and maintain a clean, safe workstation. This role supports thriving bakery operations with attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Friendly, timely customer service and ability to answer questions.
• Experience preparing breads, pastries, and desserts using recipes and baking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, keep a clean and orderly workspace, and meet production schedules.
• Familiarity with proper food handling, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work with others to drive daily bakery operations.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing production needs.
• Ability to operate mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, bake, and decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe work area and label ingredients.
• Plan daily production with bakery team and ensure cases are full and visually appealing.
