Job summary

Schlotzsky’s is seeking a dedicated Baker to produce freshly baked breads and pizza crusts according to daily bake orders. You will ensure quality, accuracy in weights, and maintain clean, safe workstations while observing OSHA and SERVSAFE guidelines.

The role requires 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the initiative to work independently while supporting the bakery team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to operate bakery equipment.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task during the baking process.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle hot equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards (OSHA and SERVSAFE).
• Punctuality and adherence to uniform and grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Bake batches according to daily bake orders.
• Consistently produce high quality bakery products with accurate weights.
• Keep workstation clean at all times and clean dishes/pans.
• Assist managers with bread levels and bake sequence.
• Report to work on time and follow company policies.
