Job summary

David Lawrence Centers For Behavioral Health is seeking a Baker Act/Marchman Act Specialist to manage front desk operations in Naples, FL. The role supports Baker Act and Marchman Act processes, coordinates daily schedules, and assists providers with telehealth services.

The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information; health and immunization trainings are required. Competitive benefits and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• One year of experience in a hospital, medical, behavioral health, or administrative setting preferred.
• Microsoft Office 365 and EMR experience strongly preferred; staying compliant on trainings and immunizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk coverage and assist clients, families, staff and visitors.
• Manage visitation and perform other front desk duties.
• Maintain a safe, organized lobby and answer the phone system.
• Coordinate Baker Act and Marchman Act processes and prepare related petitions.
• Schedule after-hours psychiatric evaluations and coordinate telehealth services.
• Upload and maintain provider schedules in the EMR and coordinate jail telehealth consultations.
• Assist with intake processes and collecting and filing required documentation.
