Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Baker to join the Bakery team in our Inglewood, CA store. Under the Bakery Manager's supervision, you will prepare and bake high-volume bakery products using standardized recipes and perform related sanitation duties.

Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends, lift heavy items, and pass a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification for all food preparation and service tasks. This position requires staying active in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and work nights and weekends.
• Fast-paced grocery store bakery environment may require standing and walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake high-volume bakery products using standardized recipes.

Job description

Under the Bakery Manager’s supervision, a Baker prepares and bakes high volume bakery products using standardized recipes and performs other related preparation and sanitation duties as required. Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends. Must be able to perform heavy lifting.
