Job summary

The Bakehouse, located at 2 Depot Plaza inside the Tarrytown train station, is seeking a skilled Baker to join our in-house bakery and café team. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM, emphasizing high-quality, made-from-scratch pastries and breads.

You will participate in all production shift tasks, from oven work to bench production and organization, ensuring products meet our standards and are ready for service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of baking experience.
• Passion for baking with quality ingredients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday 4:00 AM–12:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Bake breakfast items and recipes per instructions.
• Handle a variety of bakery tasks including breads, cakes, cookies, tarts, pies.
• Store, rotate, and organize baked goods in cold storage.
• Keep work area clean and maintain equipment at shift end.

Join Our Team as a Baker at The Bakehouse!

The Bakehouse, located at 2 Depot Plaza inside the Tarrytown train station, is a retail bakery and café dedicated to crafting everything in-house, from scratch, and on demand using only the finest quality ingredients. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Responsibilities

As a Baker at The Bakehouse, you’ll participate in all aspects of our production shift, ensuring that our baked goods meet the high standards our customers love. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Oven Work: Baking all breakfast items to perfection following provided instructions.
• Bench Work: Engaging in a variety of bakery production tasks, including breads, cakes, cookies, tarts, pies, and more.
• Organizational Work: Storing, organizing, rotating, and consolidating baked goods in walk-in freezers and refrigerators as needed.
• Light Cleaning: Sweeping and cleaning your immediate workspace and equipment at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• At least 1 year of baking experience.
• A passion for baking and working with high-quality ingredients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
