Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in New York is seeking a Baker to join the overnight team and support daytime bakery operations by producing fresh items for customers. A passion for baking in a fast-paced environment is desired.

You will provide high-quality products, educate customers on meal solutions, and work accurately and promptly to keep the bakery stocked and ready for service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting.
• Experience Baking, following recipes and working in a bakery with dough made from scratch
• Advanced organizational, mathematical and time management skills.

As a Baker, you’ll work with the overnight team to support the Bakery Department’s daytime operations by producing and ensuring the freshest bakery items are available for our customers.
