Responsibilities

• Prepare cookie dough according to established recipes and production procedures.
• Accurately measure and scale ingredients.
• Operate commercial mixers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
• Roll, cut, and prepare dough for baking.
• Bake cookies according to precise time and temperature requirements.
• Monitor cookies during baking and identify products that do not meet quality standards.
• Maintain consistency across large production batches.
• Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed, including icing, packaging, ingredient preparation, and inventory.
• Keep equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Space Cadet Baking Co. is a San Francisco catering company specializing in custom printed sugar cookies for corporate events, brand activations, conferences, celebrations, and client gifting. We're looking for an experiencedBakerto join our production team.

This is a hands-on production role focused primarily onmaking dough, rolling and cutting dough, and baking cookies. The right candidate will have experience working with dough and commercial kitchen equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Details

• Part-time, hourly position
• $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience
• 10–25 hours per week to start
• Primarily weekday shifts
• Additional hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, may be available or needed during peak production periods
• San Francisco, CA
