Space Cadet Baking Co. is a San Francisco-based catering company specializing in custom cookies for corporate events, brand activations, conferences, celebrations, and client gifting. We are seeking an experienced baker to join our production team for part-time, hourly work.

The role focuses on dough making, rolling and cutting dough, and baking cookies in a fast-paced production environment with close adherence to recipes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Ability to produce consistent results batch to batch.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Able to work independently once trained.
• Team-oriented and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cookie dough according to established recipes and production procedures.
• Accurately measure and scale ingredients.
• Operate commercial mixers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.
• Roll, cut, and prepare dough for baking.
• Bake cookies according to precise time and temperature requirements.
• Monitor cookies during baking and identify products that do not meet quality standards.
• Maintain consistency across large production batches.
• Assist with other bakery production tasks as needed, including icing, packaging, ingredient preparation, and inventory.
• Keep equipment, work surfaces, and the kitchen clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
