Otway Bakery is seeking skilled pastry and bread bakers for full and part-time positions in a dynamic, independently owned bakery. Otway Bakery in Clinton Hill is looking for both skilled pastry / viennoiserie & bread bakers for full and part-time positions. Early AM shifts and weekends are required.
Otway Bakery opened in March 2022 after the bread and pastry programs at Otway Restaurant outgrew their original location. We offer a rotating selection of pastries and breads made daily with a focus on locally sourced flours and grains, some of which are milled in-house.
Requirements for Success :
This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individuals to work with exceptional ingredients and be part of a dynamic team in an independently owned and operated high-volume bakery.
While performing their duties, bakers are regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
