We are seeking an experienced Baker to work in a production bakery, baking and preparing our approved recipes. Bakers are responsible for their prep list, recipes, and station readiness, including setup, production, and cleanup.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Work as part of a team baking high-quality foods according to approved recipes.
2. Maintain food safety standards.
3. Monitor cleanliness of stations for food safety and debris removal.
4. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
5. Reduce waste and shrink by following pars, executing samples, and completing daily reports.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Ability to follow verbal and written directions, read recipes, and understand measurements.
2. Knowledge of food handling protocols preferred.
3. Knife safety skills preferred.

Education and Experience

1. Previous baking experience outside of the home required.
2. Serv-safe certification recommended.
3. Culinary training encouraged but not required.
4. Experience in the service industry is a plus.

Physical Demands

Sufficient physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate kitchen equipment. Ability to communicate verbally and exchange information effectively.

Working Environment

Primarily in a grocery store setting with public contact and interruptions.
