Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Canandaigua, NY is seeking a Baker to join the overnight team and ensure fresh bakery items for the daytime service. If you love baking and thrive in a fast-paced grocery environment, this role is for you.

You will produce high-quality products, assist customers with meal solutions, and work accurately and on time to support the Bakery Department. Customer service experience is preferred, with baking experience recommended.

Job Description:

As a Baker, you’ll work with the overnight team to support the Bakery Department’s daytime operations by producing and ensuring the freshest bakery items are available for our customers. If you have a passion for baking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this could be the role for you!

Required Qualifications:

• Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience Baking, following recipes and working in a bakery with dough made from scratch
• Advanced organizational, mathematical and time management skills
