Job summary

HumanGood in Irvine, CA is seeking a community baker to prepare food items for Residents across Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Health Center Dining Room. You will ensure quality and sanitary standards in all prep and service.

Full-time schedule is Saturday-Wednesday 10:30am-6:30pm. Requires at least a high school diploma and 5+ years of culinary or food service experience; ServSafe or Food Handlers certification preferred.

• 5+ years of prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; culinary schooling preferred.
• ServSafe certification or Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with sanitary standards and quality guidelines.
• Meet the needs of residents across Residential Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Health Center Dining Room.
• Maintain high standards of portion control and presentation.

Pay range $23 to $25 an hour. Depending on experience.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some culinary schooling preferred

Experience/Training

• 5+ years of prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience
• Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course preferred.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Would Have

• High school Level diploma, GED or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.
• Experience preferred in similar role
• Food Handlers Certificate preferred
