Job summary

American Food & Vending and American Dining Creations form one of the nation’s largest privately held dining and refreshment service organizations. Family-owned and headquartered in Syracuse, NY, we have served clients nationwide for over 80 years, delivering customized dining solutions across business, education, healthcare and cultural environments.

We seek a talented baker to develop recipes, decorate cakes and pastries, and present new developments to clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary training paired with strong baking abilities.
• Creativity and time management skills.
• Strong oral and communication abilities for client and staff presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create new recipes including breads, cakes, cookies, and specialty desserts.
• Cake and pastry decorating.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Presenting new developments to clients and staff.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
