Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Baker to join our team in Clinton, SC. You will oversee the preparation and baking of bakery items and gourmet pastries, and contribute to dessert creation for dining and catered events.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and baking of bakery items and gourmet pastries.
• Create various desserts for the dining location and catered events.
• Prepare other food items as directed by General Manager or Chef.
• Maintain proper cooking and holding temperatures of foods.
• Bake and decorate cakes.
• Conduct menu costing and planning.
• Set up product displays, order, purchase, and stock bakery items.
• Maintain inventory and product cost controls.
• Ensure proper sanitation of kitchen area.
