Job summary

Paris Baguette in Cincinnati invites a motivated Baker to join our busy bakery cafe. You will craft breads, pastries, and desserts, operate ovens and supporting equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen while delivering high-quality products for our customers.

Growth opportunities exist as lead baker or trainer within a brand expanding across the U.S. Must have at least 1 year of bakery experience, knowledge of baking techniques, and a team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bakery production experience.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, recipe execution, and timing.
• Understanding of food safety, labeling, and sanitisation practices.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong teamwork, organisation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, donuts, and desserts with precision and care.
• Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Handle prep tasks like scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing baked goods.
• Monitor bake times and product appearance to ensure consistent quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen station.
• Rotate and stock ingredients, checking for freshness and quality.
• Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets accurately.
• Support team goals with flexibility and urgency.
• Assist in training new bakers on recipes and methods.
