Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude is helpful.
• Ability to learn multiple production responsibilities.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification after training.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate bagging equipment used to produce 50-lb hydro mulch bales.
• Monitor equipment and production output throughout the shift.
• Help maintain established production and throughput goals.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, downtime, or inefficiencies.
• Assist with production startup, shutdown, and shift-change activities.
• Inspect finished products for defects and remove out-of-spec bags.
• Handle and move 50-lb bags and maintain organized material flow.
• Rotate between production assignments and operate a forklift after training.
