Job summary

Prospect Airport Services is seeking a supervisor to manage baggage handling for incoming and outgoing passengers. The role focuses on promptly addressing concerns, overseeing bag sorting, tagging accuracy, and coordination with TSA.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, are 18+, and can obtain required credentials. The position involves safety compliance and may require rotating shifts at major airport sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• 2+ years of experience with supervising or managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with baggage pick-up, loading, unloading, and resolving issues with delayed, lost, or damaged items.
• Set up conveyances to sort and distribute incoming bags.
• Scan and ensure correct tagging and loading of each bag.
• Forward and receive bags to and from TSA.
• Take care of the safety scanner and other equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and capabilities.
