Job Description
ABM is hiring a Baggage Agent at our T. F. Green Airport.
FULL TIME AVAILABLE
Salary - $16.00 per hour
Benefit Information:
General Responsibilities: Meet and greet arriving passengers, assist with baggage issues, and provide information in the claim area.
Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions: Make baggage arrival announcements, log flights, monitor baggage delivery, handle irregularities, initiate files for lost/damaged/pilfered baggage, coordinate baggage return, process unclaimed luggage, coordinate with ramp services, monitor baggage quality, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Must be familiar with FAA/ Airline/ Company regulations, maintain cleanliness, project a positive image, work independently, communicate effectively, and comply with safety and security standards.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting 50+ pounds.
Work Environment: Moderate noise level.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective communication, reasoning, and knowledge of safety regulations. Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, and meet SIDA badge requirements.
Experience in customer service preferred, computer skills required.
