Qualifikationen

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, including written documentation.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Aufgaben

• Greet passengers at the baggage drop area and assist with luggage check-in.
• Verify passenger tickets and travel documentation.
• Ensure correct tagging and processing of each piece of luggage.
• Explain baggage policies, including weight limits, restricted items, and special handling procedures.
• Operate computer systems to process baggage and generate luggage tags.
• Assist passengers with self-service kiosks, when needed.
• Handle oversized, fragile, or special care baggage with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with airline staff regarding special luggage handling requirements.
• Maintain an organized and efficient baggage drop area.
• Collaborate with security personnel to ensure all baggage meets safety standards.
• Report baggage irregularities, discrepancies, or security concerns immediately.
• Provide passengers with information regarding flight status, gate locations, and airport services.
• Ensure a smooth and timely baggage handling process for all customers.
• Follow all company, airline, and airport protocols related to baggage handling.
• Stay informed about updates to baggage handling procedures and technologies.
• Record and report baggage handling activities and daily passenger interactions in accordance with company and airport regulations.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
