Job summary

PopUp Bagels Midtown East is seeking motivated individuals to join our scratch-based kitchens where you will learn multiple stations, gain hands-on experience, and develop leadership in a fast-paced setting. No prior experience is required, but a passion for great food and guest service is essential.

You will help deliver exceptional bagels, engage with guests about offerings and seasonal ingredients, and support the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary.
• A desire to create exceptional employee & guest experiences.
• An eye for detail and solving challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• The willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary.
• A desire for growth in our restaurants.
• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients, making their day special with a scratch-made bagel.
• Work to support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods.
• Help maintain an A letter-grade by following health and PopUp Bagels food safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and uphold anti-discrimination policies.
• Go home feeling fulfilled as part of a fantastic team and brand.
