Job summary

PopUp Bagels is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our scratch-based kitchens in New York. You will gain exposure to different stations, learn about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients while creating delicious scratch-made bagels for guests.

Whether you choose part-time or full-time, you will help support the team during peak and off-peak service, contribute to top-notch food safety, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No experience is required.
• A desire to create exceptional employee & guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary.
• Desire for growth in our restaurants.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements (frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, occasional up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to guests about current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to make their day special.
• Work to support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.
• Help to maintain a minimum standard 'A' letter grade by following food safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and uphold anti-discrimination & anti-harassment policies.
