Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is hiring for a Bag Prep Quality Chef on the 3rd shift. You will support multiple bagging lines, verify ingredients against recipes, and help ensure accurate weights and labeling while keeping the workspace clean and compliant with safety policies.

The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, strong attention to detail, and teamwork to meet production targets in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in hot/cold environments.
• Able to perform under pressure and maintain quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Weigh raw ingredients according to recipe.
• Organize ingredients according to recipes and place in barrels or drums.
• Conduct regular inventory checks on ingredients as scheduled.
• Stage materials according to recipe and complete IQS paperwork.
• Assist with changeovers and equipment setup as needed.
• Ensure product quality, verify item numbers and weights, and maintain safe work practices.
