Job summary

Novolex in Brookshire, TX is seeking a 2nd shift Bag Machine Operator to run the packaging line, inspect bags for defects, and package bundles. You will monitor machine speed, change rolls, thread paper, and ensure output meets quality and production targets while following safety policies.

We offer a starting pay of $18.75 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift differential for this 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). The role requires standing all day and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong safety and quality awareness.
• Good communication and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate bag machine and inspect outputs for quality.
• Perform quality checks and complete required paperwork.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures, using PPE.
• Change rolls, thread and adjust machine to run at speed.
• Report adjustments and repairs to supervisor.
• Submit daily production reports.
• Meet safety, quality, and housekeeping goals.
